I am running in the Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon in a Forrest Gump costume to raise funds and awareness for NeuRA, to help prevent and cure disease and disability of the brain and nervous system.
My Nana on my fathers side (Barbara Bond) recently passed away after complications following Dementia, and my Grandma on my mothers side (Beverly Mackay) also passed away a few years ago, after illness following a stroke and Dementia.
I know there is so much more we can do to help prevent and cure of dementia and all other diseases and disabilities of the brain and nervous system - and by donating to Neura you can make a massive difference to thousands, millions, if not billions of lives in the future!
Donate event just $20, and help Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) increase their impact. Please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
